Alex Norton Is a Scottish actor who appears in two episodes of the BBC One adaptation of Ann Cleeves's Shetland.
He was born on January 27, 1950 in Glasgow, Scotland as Alexander Hugh Norton. He is an actor and writer, known for The Count of Monte Cristo (2002), Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) and Braveheart (1995). He has been married to Sally Kinghorn since December 17, 2001. They have three children.
He portrays Cameron Watt in Dead Water, Part 1 and 2. He has also won two awards for writing.
